Sample Week Itinerary

  • First Day

    Arriving to Santiago International Airport. Driving to Cajon del Maipo.

    Your adventure begins at Santiago International Airport early in the morning. Our guides will be waiting for you. Please make sure that you book a flight which arrives at Chile before 10:00 AM. After meeting everybody, our guides will briefly introduce you to the Chilean culture while taking you on a striking drive through neighborhoods such as Vitacura and Las Condes. This drive will follow the Mapocho River Canyon to Santiago where we will stop for food before heading to Cajon del Maipo. We will check in at your accomodations and then enjoy a perfect afternoon relaxing and getting ready for tomorrow’s adventure. Lodging includes breakfast. Dinner is available within the premises.

  • Second Day

    Sledskiing Cajon del Maipo in the High Andes

    Today we wake up early to enjoy a fabulous breakfast and head straight to the hills to take a few warm up runs and check everones’s riding level. After a quick lunch on the slopes, our guides will take you to classic ski zones of the Central Andes such as La Engorda, and Carreno. Conditions and group skills permitting, we will safely explore the Andean backcountry skiing runs for all levels. Also, If you are up for a hike, it is possible to boot up steep couloirs and such. In some days, if the conditions are right, we are able to reach a look out from where you will be able to see higher Andean peaks such as Cerro Arenas, El Morado, Loma Larga, Meson alto, and others. At night you will enjoy a great dinner of your choice from one of the restaurants offered in Cajon del Maipo.

  • Third Day

    Secret spots in the High Andes.

    This is our second day in the Central Andes, therefore we will be targeting the secret local powder stashes. Anywhere from big wide mellow open bowls to tight steep chutes, our guides will take you to the best spots of the day. After skiing, your Cajon del Maipo experience will continue by relaxing yourself soaking at the Termas de Colina natural hot spring pool just before heading out.

  • Fourth Day

    Sledskiing the immense terrain of Cajon del Maipo

    After breakfast we will be continuing skiing the immense terrain the Andes offers. Depending on conditions, our guides will take you to the best snow of the day. Powder snow is our business! hot springs are always available.

  • Fifth, sixth and seventh Day

    Exploring the endless possibilities of Carreno in Cajon del Maipo

    Wake up early to continue exploring one of the most amazing ski terrains in South America. Named by friendly outside sources as the Powder Capital of South America, Carreno, is a truly backcountry dreamland consisting of endless hills, valleys, and stunning mountain formations formed by the ancient Andean Volcanoes. Situated strategically in front of the Pacific Ocean, the Central Andes receives regular snow falls followed by blue sky mornings. During these three days, we will explore this fantastic terrain in the middle of the High Andes.

  • Eight Day

    Sightseeing weather day and drive back to Santiago

    We will wake up early and if we had a weather day we will go skiing if not we will take it easy and get ready to leave. You will have time to review some of the pictures of the trip, and request copies for you and your friends before leaving. After a short drive, we will arrive at Santiago International Airport around 7 PM. Our guides will thank you and say: Adios Amigos!!!!
